2008-2009 Holy Name Hockey Registration

The Board of Directors of Holy Name Hockey Association has set

the Ice Fees and Registration Fees for next year's 2008-2009 season. We are happy to announce that

ALL FEES WILL REMAIN THE SAME!!

Although there have been increases in some areas related to our program, by our families' diligent efforts in fundraising we have been able to MAINTAIN OUR FEES. This is the second year that we have been able to drop or maintain our fees in an increasingly more-expensive world!

***Important Information: To be allowed to practice, Midgets are required to bring their registration fee ($175) and first ice installment ($350) to their first skate. The total cost due at the first skate is $525.

Some things you should know about Holy Name Hockey

Our goal is always to keep Ice Fees at a manageable rate and one that is competitive to other local hockey programs. We, at Holy Name Hockey, have always supported a three-practice, per week structure and have been able to continue to keep our rates competitive with other local organizations; even with this additional practice! Last year we were able to reduce our ice fees and we are maintaining that low fee this year!

Fundraising is an important part of keeping these rates low. Calendar raffles, apparel sales, golf tournament and the Parent's Social all help in lowering monthly ice fees. We have also developed a program where a percentage of parent's advertising sales for website sponsors and yearbook sponsors go DIRECTLY to their child's ice fee bill.

THIS YEAR WE HAVE CREATED A 10-Month Payment Extension Plan.

This plan will allow for your ice fees to be paid beginning in June 2008-March 2009.

The annual Ice Fee will Remain the same, ($1,393)but your monthly payment will be spread over 3 additional months creating a lower monthly payment. This is an optional plan to provide a creative option for assisting families in lowering their monthly budgetary requirements.

THIS YEAR'S PAYMENT IS $139 PER MONTH FOR 10 MONTHS, BEGINNING IN JUNE

Our focus is on developing players and keeping our children healthy. With childhood obesity in the foreground of our nation's conversation, Holy Name is proud to provide three hours of physical activity and exercise (practices) per week during the long, winter months. In keeping with the same spirit of focusing on player's wellness; we also attempt to provide same time and same location (rink) practices to allow families to better plan their busy schedules.

In addition, the Olympia Ice Center provides a comfortable atmosphere during practice times which includes TV viewing, free INTERNET access, on-site pro shop, and a delicious snack, pizza, and sub shop. This may seem like a small benefit, but to be able to provide dinner to your child before leaving the rink or watch the weather forecast, get business or homework done, find out political results upcoming in November, or watch those important fall sports games is a big plus!
